There are four integrals that are given in the formulae booklet for C4 that are not dealt with in the Heinemann textbook in much detail. They do not need to be learnt but it is worth being aware of them to save yourself trying to integrate something that is infact a standard result.

Nature of Sheet
This sheet takes the four integrals and shows that they are the case by differentiating the result and arriving at what was integrated. This is the technique recommended by the textbook. It is possible that an exam question could be to prove one of these integrals and whilst these proofs need not be learnt it is worth being aware of the way it is done. All you really need to know is the differentiation techniques from C3.
