Snapfish First Collection: Photos Not There

I tried to pick up my photos from my local Jessops today. But I found that they were not there yet. I was told by Snapfish that they would be. This is the first time that I have used Snapfish - and admittedly I am not giving them any money for this service - but really I expect better. I am going to try to get them tomorrow.

Natwest: Fuck You

I got very angry in Natwest today. The assistant didn’t know what she was talking about but she pretended that she did. I was trying to tell her that she was incorrect but she wouldn’t believe me. I have since phoned Natwest and they have assured me that I am indeed correct and have apoligised for the behaviour of the assistant in the branch.

You can borrow more money from Natwest totally interest free than they state in this table. And don’t let them tell you that you can’t. You can apply to borrow up to £2000 interest free should you so desire. And you are entitled to the next years limit (guaranteed) from the 1st September.

Fitblogging: I Missed A Day

I didn’t do my exercises yesterday. Which has screwed up my schedule. I will do them today and tomorrow instead to get back on track. I did do lots of walking yesterday though - which can’t be a bad thing. It is all about hitting a rhythm though and getting out of the cycle so early on is a real downer.

Snapfish Update: I’m Collecting My Free Prints Today

I’m heading into town today to see if I can pick up the free prints that I ordered. If so it is important to note that I Have not paid a penny to HP or Snapfish for them. Lets see if it works. More details of the offer on the original post.

I’m Interested In This… Extra Borrowing From Natwest

Natwest - Extra Borrowing

I wonder if this will come to anything. Watch this blog for details. I’ll phone them on Tuesday.

Not Fatblogging But Fitblogging

I’m not fat but I’m not fit. This is me trying to change this. I did 20 press ups and 20 sit-ups on Friday. Then following advice - that suggested you shouldn’t push your muscles everyday - found online I rested on Saturday. Today I repeated the routine but didn’t do the sit-ups doing “The Crunch” instead. My schedule is to do Mon - Weds - Fri - Sun every week. Some jogging will start soon. I know it is not much but slowly and surely it should make some difference.

Zack’s Great Comment on Hotmail Is Not Closing

I’ve just seen this great comment from Zack on my Hotmail Closure (Part 1) article. I thought it was worth posting about.

Zack writes:

aswell many of these chain letters state that there are only 578 names left. Consider this:

Your email address can be anywhere from 1-64 characters in length.
in your email address, you can have anything from a-z,
0-9, preiods(.), hyphens(-) and underscores (_) thats a total of 38 possibilities for EVERY 64 characters in your email address.
that means that there are 64^38 (2 760 698 530 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000) possible email addresses.

now for the funny part:

the worlds population is only 6 602 244 175 (as of july, 2007)
that would mean in order for there to be ONLY 578 names left…. every single person on this planet would need to have:
4 181 454 786 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 email addresses….

I think Zack’s analysis only covers email address of 64 chracters. Since you can have email addresses of anywhere between 1 and 64 characters there are even more possibilities. But the point is very well made. Hotmail is not running out of email addresses.

iPhone Facebook On Netvibes Rocks!

I will not be going to Facebook.com again for some time. The iPhone version of Facebook is great to use in any version (see it here) but I think it is better suited to a smaller screen. Hence it works perfectly as a widget. You can browse, post, change your status, check your inbox etc. And you don’t see any of the new application shit. It is simply marvellous. Ad free for the moment too.

I’m Growing My Nails

Here’s what they are like now.

Might look short to you but I don’t normally have any white bits. They are surprisingly tough and already I am put off biting them. Heading for my first real nails in over 10 years.
